Greenleaf Resiliency Training now Online as well as In-Person
October 2012

Using Greenleaf Integrative Strategies’ new online ecosystem, the Office of Afghanistan and Pakistan Affairs at USAID is extending its resiliency assistance to personnel in the field.  With its 2011-2015 prime contract, Greenleaf has provided in-person, pre-deployment training to over 150 personnel thus far.  Trainees learn a behavioral, neuroscientific model to identify problematic stress reactions, to utilize over a dozen self-regulation techniques, and to determine when external help is warranted.

With the help of SBAIC member Sonjara, Greenleaf’s online ecosystem goes a step further to provide 1) tracking tools to monitor exacerbations/improvements 2) downloadable resiliency materials and 3) a Voice-over-Powerpoint course on stress associated with concluding assignments and reintegration.
