Sustainable Achievement of Business Expansion and Quality (SABEQ) Project
October 2013

Kaizen’s support on SABEQ made use of innovative peer-to-peer consulting methodologies and new media to expand the breadth and depth of overall program assistance.  Kaizen did this by establishing and leading several Jordanian Professional Communities. Each Professional Community (PC) brought together Jordanian micro, small, and medium (M-SME) enterprises to support each other through the transfer of ideas, experiences, and expertise, and to identify areas in which the project could support their business expansion efforts. An interactive web portal served as an additional meeting place for collaboration. This new media enabled portal consolidated each group’s collective intelligence, provided access to international and local resources, and served as a marketplace for local consulting firms and organizations to make their services available to interested PC members.
