USAID Knowledge Management System; Quest
May 2013

Bridgeborn and its prime – Social Impact – developed a Drupal-based open source content management system known as Quest (available at http://quest.usaidlearninglab.org/).  Quest makes USAID development programming resources available to everyone through a single, easily navigable site. Users can view a list of programming resources, view resource metadata, and access programming resources. Exports of USAID development programming resources are made available in both machine and human-readable formats. Quest also allows users to make suggestions for new resources. Integrated role-based user profiles facilitate the curation of programming resources. Additionally, Quest includes link checking functionality, which identifies any bad hyperlinks to programming resources and notifies the proper Quest personnel so appropriate action can be administered. This helps ensure accessibility to all USAID programming resources. Quest clearly articulates USAID performance data by employing simple, interactive charts and sortable, filterable tables.
