JAA then helped build the capacity of BDS providers; so that they could effectively facilitate access of their members to quality BDS commercial and financial services and act as credible partners to banks, investors, input dealers, processors, and other private sector actors along the value chain. As part of the expansion of the value chain approach and BDS to staple food sub-sectors, JAA is developing multi-partner value chain alliances, combining private sector SMEs with producer groups or associations and Business-to-Business partnerships.
