Building Linkages between Jobseekers and Employers in Tunisia
June 2013
To help create and fill new workspaces in Tunisia, IDG provides technical assistance, training, and facilitated access to finance for ICT and ICT-enabled firms with high potential to create jobs. IDG offers professional training to jobseekers via local training providers, as employers share the costs and commit to subsequently hiring the trainees. Our team also organizes job fairs and provides technical assistance to Tunisian universities to launch career centers. In parallel, IDG works to accelerate ICT policy and regulatory reform by addressing key policy areas that discourage investment and job creation, including tax regime, administrative barriers, and telecommunications and digital communications regulations.
