SBAIC Co-host: 4th Annual Department of State Overseas Small Business Government Contracting
May 2019

The Small Business Association for International Companies (www.SBAIC.org), the U.S. Department of State, and the Virginia PTAC (https://virginiaptac.org) collaborated in hosting the 4th Annual Department of State Overseas Small Business Government Contracting Conference.

The conference included a morning session that addressed best practices of winning Contracts and preparations before entering foreign countries. The guest panel included Dr. Lewis Rasmussen, Director of Protocol and Security at Tetra Tech and Carlos Rivera Board Chair, SBAIC.

In the afternoon, the State Department and large primes provided small business participants an opportunity to participate in a very robust matchmaking session that included numerous branches and offices of the State Department, USDA, MBDA, MCC, and USAID. Also, a special thank you to the many large prime contractors present such as Tetra Tech, FHI360, IBM, KBR Wyle, CGI Federal, and Palladium Group.
