SBAIC member, Nickol Global Solutions (NGS), has been awarded a transformative new contract with UN Women in Moldova to advance gender equality and women’s economic empowerment. This initiative was organized by NGS within the project “Women for Peace and Prosperity,” implemented by UN Women with funding provided by Switzerland. The work will be implemented with Moldovan partners, GLIA Impact Hub, and JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT EUROPE.

This critical initiative will narrow the gender financial literacy gap by developing an accessible, inclusive financial education program for women across diverse communities—including rural women, underrepresented groups, women with disabilities, gender-based violence survivors, women entrepreneurs, those from the left bank of Nistru/Dniester River and Gagauzia, Ukrainian refugees, and teachers throughout Moldova. Beyond financial education, this project will provide crucial access to finance support for women entrepreneurs, creating pathways to economic independence and business growth.

Given Moldova’s significant geopolitical position, this partnership represents an opportunity to drive meaningful change in one of the world’s most strategically important regions. NGS is committed to delivering results that will have lasting impact on women’s economic empowerment and financial inclusion. This is a vital mission that will help to build a more equitable future.
