A National Single Window for the Dominican Republic

Under its subcontract with Crown Agents/UK, SBAIC member Duca Consulting will be presenting the team’s draft proposal for the implementation of a National Single Window in the Dominican Republic during the first week of December. The Single Window will gradually integrate all agencies with regulatory roles in foreign trade, simplifying procedures for the private sector and greatly expediting Customs operations. Among many advantages that should accrue to the system, Dominican-US trade under DR-CAFTA is expected to benefit from the streamlined processes. Donaldo (Duca) Hart has personally assumed the team leadership for this challenging project for the past twelve months.
