2023: Supporting localization
February 2023

Kate Kijinski, Senior Program Manager, JMO Communications

Jennifer Orford, Founder & CEO, JMO Communications

Locally led organizations receive substantial support to implement more effectively, improve accountability, and meet global norms. However, support for communications is often overlooked. Local organizations should be positioned to successfully share their stories and amplify their successes on a stage that is currently dominated and defined by global actors. JMO Communications can help make this a reality.

We are committed to localization, and JMO Communications is uniquely positioned to support locally led action for sustainable solutions across the globe. Our vision for 2023 is to provide ongoing support to local actors and implementing partners to ensure these important successes are professionally packaged and amplified at the local, regional, and global levels.

Our team of more than 50 professionals – experienced in sectors ranging from public health and poverty reduction to humanitarian crises and climate change – are available to support local actors to ensure that all communications deliverables meet the highest quality standards.

Whether it be project communications support (e.g., writing reports, success stories, slide decks) or specific activities (e.g., graphic design, editorial services, translations, videos), our team is on standby to provide support throughout 2023 and beyond to help the work of local actors shine.

“As a woman?owned small business, our flexibility and agility ensure a highly customized approach by technically skilled professionals with extensive experience in the development sector to accelerate and amplify the work of local actors,” said Jennifer Orford, CEO, JMO Communications. “We look forward to continuing to celebrate and strengthen the work of local actors in 2023 and beyond.”
