IBI International Wins USAID IDQ to Strengthen Public Financial Management Systems
October 2012

Arlington, Va. – (October 5, 2012) – IBI International today announced that it has been awarded an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract with the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) to assist USAID in providing support for strengthening public financial management (PFM) systems in developing countries.

By focusing on human capacity, improving the environment to promote economic opportunity for all, and fostering the sound management of institutions, this IDIQ will enable USAID to continue its leadership role in nurturing sustainable PFM. It will also advance USAID efforts to assist U.S. foreign aid recipient countries in the design and implementation of large-scale economic and structural reforms. “We are very pleased with this award,” said David Colvin, IBI’s President. “It further strengthens our relationship with USAID’s Bureau for Economic Growth, Education and the Environment. It enables us to make available to USAID Missions our highly effective and customized solutions based on best practice and dynamic contract management.” IBI led a successful consortium of top public financial management companies including Crown Agents, Grant Thornton, and Nathan Associates.

This competitively-awarded, firm-fixed-price/fixed-daily-rate contract has a five year base period and a maximum contract ceiling of $700,000,000 if fully obligated. A small, woman-owned business, IBI International is a consulting services provider working in support of international development, delivering results for public financial management, economic growth, human and institutional capacity development, and good governance.
