GBSI awarded prime contract with USAID/ES

USAID/El Salvador awarded SBAIC member Global Business Solutions, Inc. its first long-term prime contract on December 21, 2011. The Improving Access to Financial Services for Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) is a two and quarter year project. The objective of this Project is to create, promote and implement practical and innovative solutions to address and overcome current obstacles to the flow of financial services for MSEs in the areas of systems, institutional capacity and appropriate products and methodologies in order to increase the quantity and quality of effective financial products and services, including micro insurance and micro savings. This contract will also strengthen organizations to support the system with stronger and sustainable players to confront the increased risk in the economy and take into account the specific needs of MSEs.  Congratulations, Global Business Solutions!
