Computer Frontiers Certified as a Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE)

Computer Frontiers Inc., an SBAIC member, has been awarded the Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) certification by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).

Computer Frontiers Inc. was established by Barbara Keating in 1996, and has been continually growing and providing technical support services to countries all over the world. With over 17 years of applied experience in Information Technology, Computer Systems, and innovative IT solutions, CFI has implemented over 170 technology projects in more than 40 countries with excellent results.

WBENC is the largest third-party certifier of businesses owned and controlled by women in the United States. This national 501(c) (3) non-profit council, partners with 14 Regional Partner Organizations to provide its world class standard of certification to women-owned businesses throughout the country.

After an extensive and lengthy review of business process and financials, and on-site inspections, Computer Frontiers Inc. was verified as woman owned, managed, and controlled. This world class certification is accepted by more than 1,000 corporations who represent America’s prestigious brands.

Computer Frontiers Inc. is now eligible to participate in WBENC conferences and can grow even more through the various opportunities that are offered through the WBENC business matching portal. In addition, CFI is provided with formal and informal programs, events, and tools to connect corporate buyers with other WBEs.

Government agencies as well as corporations use the WBENC certification to identify women owned businesses that can help achieve their contract needs, especially because the WBENC issues the “gold standard” in national certification for women-owned businesses. Plus, thousands of corporations and many federal and government agencies recognize and accept the certification in vendor selection processes.

With the WBE certification, Computer Frontiers Inc. is placed in a distinguished category of business recognized by federal, state, and local governments, and the private sector.
